Submit your writings for online publication!

 

- TSD Guidelines for Submitting Writings -

Here are the guidelines in submitting a writing (story, poem, etc.).  Please read and follow these rules.  If your writing does not abide these guidelines, then it will not be posted on TSD.  

The Process  

  • You send the writing in.

  • I read it.

  • It is appropriate and follows guidelines listed below.

  • I post it on the site.

  • Voila!  Your writing is on "The Story Domain".

Inappropriate Stories

All types of writings are accepted except for:

  • highly-graphical erotica

  • defamation of a particular person 

  • propaganda in any form (political, etc.)

  • obvious plagiarized material

  • writings that include the excessive use of foul language

  • writings of horrendous grammar and spelling

Accepted Document Formats

  • Microsoft Word' 2000 or older

  • Notepad

  • Wordpad

  • Email (if story is less than 2500 words long)

What to include

  • Subject - If you are sending the story by email, please write "TSD Submission" in the subject header.  

  • Title - make it apparent.  I don't want to search for a title.

  • Author - Your name or pen-name.  

  • Email address - If you sent the story through email, then by default, your contact will be that address.  However, if you do not wish to publicize your address, please clearly state so.

What else?

  • Please check to make sure that there are no grammatical or spelling errors in your writings.  I will not make further corrections after the writing has been published.

  • If you have pictures that go along with the writing, send them in.  Only .GIF or .JPG formats under 1.00 MB (total) are accepted.  Please make sure that the maximum width of each  picture is 480 pixels.

  • Any writing you send in will remain your rightful property.  You may have the writing removed at any time.
